group for young wildlife enthusiasts A new group for wildlife-keen youngsters is starting at Paxton Pits Nature Reserve. The RSPB and The Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough are setting up a joint Wildlife Explorers and Wildlife Watch Group. It will meet regularly at the Reserve and provide a wide range of activities to excite youngsters with the wonders of wildlife. Read more >>> |

find fun in the wild A day of family wildlife activities was enjoyed by over 600 visitors to Paxton Pits Nature Reserve Family Fun Day on Sunday 10th June. Organised by the Friends of Paxton Pits, this biennial event included all the children’s favourite attractions such as pond dipping, face painting, bug hunting, nestbox building, and horse and cart rides.
