Join The Friends and you will be helping to make Paxton Pits Nature Reserve a better place for wildlife and people, for now and for tomorrow.
What
does The Friends do?
- encourages interest in, and the conservation
of, the Reserve;
- provides a focus for volunteers and supporters to get
involved in the running and development of the Reserve;
- works to improve
Reserve habitat and facilities, and to enhance visitor enjoyment;
- raises
money to help fund priority projects on the Reserve;
- promotes and supports
the Voluntary Warden Scheme;
- organises a substantial voluntary contribution
to reserve management.
What do I get if I join?
As
a Friend you will receive our regular newsletter The Kingfisher (published
twice a year), invitations to special events for Friends, a free gift (such as
a Kingfisher pin badge), a car sticker, a membership card and, above all, the
satisfaction of directly contributing to the future of Paxton Pits Nature Reserve.
